Apple has officially launched its new sports service Fitness Plus, marking the arrival of the company's latest subscription service.
Fitness Plus offers a variety of targeted workouts - similar to competitors, like Peloton - at $ 9.99 a month or $ 79.99 a year.
At launch, the service includes exercises categorized into 10 categories; They are: HIIT, strength training, yoga, dance, core exercises, cycling, treadmill for running and walking, rowing, and relaxation exercises.
In order to use Fitness Plus, you need the third generation of the Apple Watch Series 3 smartwatch, or later generations with the newly released watchOS 7.2 in conjunction with the iPhone 6S, or a newer device running the newly released iOS 14.3.
And if you plan to use an iPad or Apple TV platform to view Fitness Plus videos, you'll also need to update these devices to iOS 14.3 or tvOS 14.3, respectively.
And after updating the iPhone and Apple Watch, you can access Fitness Plus through the new tab in the Fitness app previously installed on your phone.
IPad users can download the Fitness app from the App Store, while Apple TV users see the app automatically installed after updating to tvOS 14.3.
And current owners of the Apple smartwatch are getting a free, one-month trial of Sports Service.
While customers who purchase the third generation Apple Watch Series 3 or later generations can get the free service for three months.
A single Fitness Plus subscription can be shared with up to six users through Apple's Family Sharing service.
The sports service is also included in the Apple One Premier plan, which includes Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, and 2 TB of iCloud storage for $ 29.95 a month.
The service is a new way for Apple to get users to stick to its ecosystem of products if they want to join fitness classes without having to go to the gym.
